Bringing a ray of hope amongst the ongoing pandemic through Art & Culture

The best weapon in beating breast cancer is awareness. Aimed at fostering a spirit of courage, grit and determination, MIF and DIVA Restaurants collaborated for a month long campaign ‘Celebrate Me’. Focused on the steely spirit of brave breast cancer survivors, this campaign highlighted the resolve, courage and positive attitude of women who fought breast cancer bravely. The campaign focused on the importance of a timely treatment and preventive measures, against breast cancer. In this context, breast cancer pamphlets and brochures were exhibited at all DIVA Restaurants; Stories of Hope from the survivors, talks from doctors were posted on the social media. Additionally, awareness talks were also organized through partner NGOs and for female Max employees.

Celebrate Me’ an annual event which salutes the strong determination of Cancer Survivors who fought all odds to come out as winners during their treatment ordeal entered its 3rd year. This year MIF joined hands with Cankids…KidsCan; an NGO working for childhood cancer to celebrate child survivors by supporting the 6th CanKids Car Rally Go Gold Punjab, to spread awareness on Childhood Cancer. The rally began with a grand flag off ceremony at Select City Mall, Delhi on 23rd September. Muskaan whose treatment was funded by MIF was the face of the campaign. With team CanKids… KidsCan, she covered 1000 kms during the rally in a span of five days travelling across Chandigarh, Bhatinda, Amritsar, Ludhiana and village Rail Majra​.

MIF exhibited the true spirit of “Seva Bhav” at the 9th Artificial Limbs and Polio Calipers Camp which was organized in association with Manav Seva Sannidhi at Raphael Centre, Dehradun from 18th - 21st April, 2017. 205 physically challenged people from Dehradun, Mussoorie and surrounding areas were provided free limbs. We feel privileged to be able to help the needy and make their Disability their Ability. The experience was very overwhelming and we are happy to share few heart moving stories from the camp.

The Development Initiatives were formally inaugurated by Mrs. Tara Singh Vachani ( CEO & MD – Antara Senior Living) on April 17th. 4 toilets for girl students, a badminton court and RO System for safe drinking water has been provide to the school.
